Modem guide for FTTP, FTTC, and HFC
Step 1
Use a mobile phone to set up your Netgear Orbi Router RBR350
Make sure to install the Deco App. (use mobile data or another Internet backup)
Log in if already have TP=Link credentials otherwise click ‘Don’t have an account?’, to sign up and verify, then sign in with created credentials.
Step 2
Once logged in with ‘Deco’ app ‘Allow all permissions’ and Save the detected Deco Network.
Permission:
Bluetooth
Location, etc.
Step 3
Wait until 'Deco X50-DSL is found', shows up. Then click 'Set Up the Deco'.
Step 4
Choose ‘Use as a Wi-Fi Router’ to setup a profile for your Deco.
Step 5
Deco app will ask ‘Where do you place this Deco?
Select the place where the nbn Connection box is located. Then click the arrow ➡️ to proceed.
Step 6
For Internet Connection Type’ select ‘Dynamic IP’, then click ‘Done’.
Keep the rest by default. Then click ‘Done’
IPTV/VLAN: OFF
MAC Address: Default
Step 7
Create your Wi-Fi Network, then click ‘Next’ then ‘Save’
A set of prompts will come after, where a customer is required to enter the following:
- Set WIFI Name
- Set WIFI Password
Step 8
Wait for the progress to complete, a prompt will show to ‘Save your Wi-Fi network to your phone’ then click the ➡️ and confirm ‘Save’.
Step 9
Wait for the progress to complete and lastly a confirmation that the Deco network is up and just click ‘Done’.
Step 10
Check the Connection:
Check that your internet connection is working properly by accessing www.google.com in your web browser.
Test your speed by typing www.speedtest.net in your web browser and click ‘GO’.
You are connected now to amaysim Home internet!

Step 1
Use a mobile phone to set up your TP-Link Deco X50 DSL AX3000
Make sure to install the Deco App. (use mobile data or another Internet backup)
Log in if already have TP=Link credentials otherwise click ‘Don’t have an account?’, to sign up and verify, then sign in with created credentials.
Step 2
Once logged in with ‘Deco’ app ‘Allow all permissions’ and Save the detected Deco Network.
Permission:
Bluetooth
Location, etc.
Step 3
Wait until ‘Deco X50-DSL is found’, shows up. Then click ‘Set Up the Deco’.
Step 4
Choose ‘Use as a DSL Router’ to setup a profile for your Deco.
Step 5
Deco App will ask ‘Where do you place this Deco?
Select the place where the nbn Connection box is located. Then click the arrow ➡️ to proceed.
Step 6
For ‘Internet Connection Type’ select ‘Dynamic IP’, then click ‘Done’.
