We’ll need to verify your identity when you sign up for a new mobile or data-only service with amaysim. We won’t be able to complete the activation process until this gets taken care of.
Acceptable forms of identification
- A debit or credit card for an Australian Banking Institution, issued in your name. (Recommended).
- A Drivers Licence issued by an Australian State or Territory.
- A Medicare Card.
- An Australian Passport.
- An International Passport (with a valid Australian Visa).

What to do if you’re having trouble verifying your identity
If your ID verification has failed, we’ll send you an email explaining how to verify your identity. We’ll also include contact details, just in case you need any further help with the verification process next time round.
