My amaysim
My amaysim is easy to use and a most hassle-free way to manage your data usage. Your balance details are displayed on the ‘Plan’ screen as soon as you log in, and all your recent data usage information can be viewed through the ‘Usage’ menu option.
You can also download usage reports in PDF form for any chosen period you like, should you want to look into them further.
The amaysim app
The amaysim app is a super simple tool to check your data balance and view all your recent usage. Your balance is displayed on the home screen as soon as you log in, while your usage history can be viewed by simply swiping up on the home screen. Too easy!
568 SMS shortcuts
Another easy way to track your data usage is to text ‘BAL’ to 568. You’ll receive an instant SMS reply, advising you how much data is left on your plan. Simple!
How data banking works on your amaysim plan
Otherwise known as ‘data rollover’, data banking saves all your unused data from your previous renewal period, ready for you to use whenever you run low on data.
For example, if your plan gives you 30GB of data each period, and you only use 10GB, when you next renew, the unused 20GB will automatically be saved in your data bank for later use.
Unlike other telcos, we don’t cap your data banking, meaning there is no limit to the amount of data that can be stored in your data bank. So, you’ll always have that little bit extra to keep swiping, scrolling or streaming!
