We’ve made it easy to manage your amaysim mobile plan from the palm of your hand with the free amaysim app. You can use the app to check your balance, renew your plan early, update your payment details, switch plans, top-up with additional credit, view detailed usage history and customise your plan settings.
Downloading the amaysim app
For Apple devices
- Head to the App Store.
- Search for the amaysim app.
- Select ‘Get’ to start. The app is provided subject to its own End User Terms.
- Select ‘Accept’ to start your download.
- Select the amaysim icon once your download is complete to open the app and start using.
For Android
- Head to the Play Store.
- Search for the amaysim app.
- -Select ‘Install the App’ to start. The app is provided subject to its own End User Terms.
- Select ‘Accept’ to start your download.
- Select the amaysim icon once your download is complete to open the app and start using.
Managing your plan on the amaysim app
The amaysim app is your one-stop-shop for managing everything to do with your amaysim mobile or data-only plan. Here’s a handy list of everything it allows you to do.
Check your balance
Whenever you open the app, your data balance will be displayed on the main screen, so you can check it easily at any time.
Renew your plan early
If you’re ever low on data, or you’ve run out altogether, you can renew your plan at any time on the amaysim app. Just swipe up on the home screen and select ‘Manage your plan’, then scroll down to select ‘Renew your plan’. Then as soon as you select ‘Confirm & pay’, we’ll renew your plan, charging your payment to your chosen payment method.
Update your payment details
To change your payment details at any time, simply swipe up on the home screen and select ‘Manage your plan’, then scroll down and select ‘Change your payment method’. Then follow the prompts to update your details.
Manage auto-renew and switch between plans
Simply swipe up on the home screen and select ‘Manage your plan’ to disable or enable auto-renew, or switch to a different plan at any time, at no extra cost.
Top up with additional credit or use a recharge voucher
Select ‘Add credit’ after swiping up on the home screen to top your account up with additional credit. To top-up using an amaysim voucher, you’ll need to select the ‘Recharge’ option.
View your detailed usage history
Our Usage History feature lets you to view trends and patterns around your recent data usage. The graphs in the app will display any data that's been used up until 11:59pm the night before.
You can also view your call and SMS usage history through My amaysim, by selecting the ‘Usage’ menu option.
Customise your plan settings
To manage other aspects of your plan, including call waiting, your voicemail and roaming settings, to name just a few, simply select the cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the home screen.
