This router is suitable for FTTP/FTTC/HFC. It will work if you have a separate VDSL2 modem connected to the FTTN/FTTB socket. If you’ve come from a provider such as iiNet or Dodo, you may need to change your internet settings, following these steps:
- In your internet browser, type 192.168.1.1 or http://www.routerlogin.com into the browsers address bar and press enter
- Login with these details:
- Username: admin
- Password: password or 1234
- Select ‘Basic’ and then ‘Internet’
- For Does your internet connection require a login?, select ‘No’
- For Internet IP address, select ‘Get dynamically from ISP’
- Select ‘Apply’
- Restart modem, if necessary
If you still cannot access the internet
Check if your router can obtain a WAN IP address from us.
- Select the homepage of 192.168.1.1 or http://www.routerlogin.com/
- Select the ‘Advanced’ tab
- Check that an IP address is shown. If 0.0.0.0 is shown, your router has not obtained an IP address from us.
- Turn off and unplug your modem
- Turn off the router
- Plug in the modem and turn it on. Wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes.
