Once your order has been dispatched, which will normally be within 2-3 business days of your purchase, we’ll send you an email with all your tracking information. Once you’ve received this, you’ll be able to track the progress of your order and stay informed on when you can expect your delivery to arrive.
Your order will typically be delivered within 1-5 business days if it’s being sent to a metro address, and within 3-5 business days if you’re located in a more regional area.
Who can accept your order? And what ID is acceptable?
We will only accept the signature of the account holder or purchaser and will require you to provide photo identification when you receive your delivery. Here are the accepted forms of ID you can use:
At the door
- Australian Driver's License
- Australian Passport
- Foreign Passport (in English)
- State/ Territory-based Proof of Age card
Collecting carded items at a Australia Post Office
- Current Australian driver license or learner permit
- Australian passport that is current
- Current foreign passport (In English)
- Current, government issued proof of age card/NSW photo card
- Current Keypass identity card
When collecting with a Passport (Australian or Foreign) you will need to present one of the below documents to validate your address
- Utility Bill or a Council Rates notice less than 3 months old
- Bank Statement less than 3 months old
Why do you need to provide ID?
Every device we send out comes with a SIM card by default. It is a legal requirement to present identification whenever purchasing, activating or receiving a SIM card in accordance with Australian law.
What to do if your order hasn’t arrived
If you’ve been waiting longer than the expected time frame for your delivery type to receive your order, you should contact us so that we can get things sorted for you.
Before you do so, please make sure that a missed delivery card wasn’t left for you and check to see if we’ve sent you an email or SMS regarding your order.
What are pre-orders and how do they work?
A pre-order is the process of reserving and purchasing a phone or tablet before its official release date. It guarantees that you will be among the first to receive the device, often with perks like early shipment, special bonuses, or trade-in incentives. Pre-orders are typically available for a limited time.
When will my device pre-order ship?
Unlike our normal orders that ship in 1-2 business days, your pre-order will ship just before the end of the pre-order period, please refer to your specific preorder product page for end dates and remember to factor in standard delivery times for your purchase to arrive.
Pre-ordering means that you will be among the first to be sent your device from amaysim. Pre-ordering does not mean you will get your device before the launch date, however sometimes devices are shipped early if the manufacturer sends the stock to us and allows us to begin shipping earlier than expected.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes you cancel as per the standard process by contacting customer Care.
When does my number move?
If you are moving your number across to amaysim to buy this device, it will not start the port process until you initiate the move in the amaysim app. You can initiate your port at any time in the amaysim app but we recommend waiting until you get your device and sim delivered. You can continue to use your old service until you start the port in APP.
